Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using RouteNaija. They govern your use of our platform and services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RouteNaija ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use RouteNaija. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
RouteNaija provides a software-as-a-service platform for route optimisation and delivery management, designed for delivery businesses and independent riders operating primarily in Nigeria. The Service includes route planning tools, rider management features, analytics dashboards, and related functionality. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where practical.
3. Account Registration
To use RouteNaija you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@useroutenaija.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe pose a security risk.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use RouteNaija to: engage in any unlawful activity; transmit harmful, offensive, or deceptive content; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service; use automated tools to scrape or extract data without our written permission; or resell or sublicense the Service without our express written consent. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately for violations of this section.
5. Payment Terms
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and include applicable taxes. Payments are processed by Paystack and are subject to Paystack's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. We do not offer refunds for partial months of service, but we may offer credits at our discretion. If your payment fails, we will notify you and provide a grace period before downgrading your account.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of RouteNaija and its licensors. Our trademarks, logos, and service marks may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent. You retain ownership of any route data, addresses, or other content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use it solely to provide and improve the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RouteNaija and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RouteNaija regarding the Service.
